Unsung Heroes of Kids’ Books- Part 1

Can you even stand it? His toy is Babar! Classic. But wait ’til you see the next one…
That is ERNIE gracing this cage. Picturing a smiling armadillo curled up with Ernie makes me feel all giggly.
I love the kitty doll with the dead eye and stripey legs. Pretty much everything about the Olivia books is good- look at the robot in the next pic. I want to be its friend.
Who remembers Lowly Worm? He’s probably the greatest B-lister there ever was.
Charlie and Lola is a cartoon that comes from the UK and is super cute. The animation style is pretty choppy and collagey, and this elephant toy on the ground is something I could easily see in an Etsy shop
Hello, crazy little pony. May I poke you in your bloated stomach?
Well, hello even crazier little puppy. Or perhaps psychotic little devil-critter would be a more appropriate name.
Need I even explain why a mini blue kangaroo is cool? No wonder the little girl is gazing at him.
Llama llama is an incredibly annoying book to read, that my 2 year old is quite taken with. I just like his stuffed llama buddy.
